Wisconsin voices needed to aid specialty vehicle owners by August 14th
Signatures needed by August 14th in support of legislative concerns over Wisconsin specialty vehicles.
Representative Adam Neylon Wisconsin Assembly District 98 (R-Pewaukee) has sent an email to all Wisconsin Legislators asking them to sign onto a letter that will be forwarded to Wisconsin Attorney General Kaul.
A portion of the email states, “In an effort to more formally address the concerns raised by these Wisconsin car hobbyists, and those who visit Wisconsin to participate in various car shows statewide, my office has prepared a letter to Attorney General Kaul, asking that he review the codes in question and provide an official opinion as to their intent.”
The letter requests clarification about the Wisconsin State Patrol’s recent interpretations of vehicle equipment requirements for specialty vehicles. These recent interpretations conflict with interpretations which have been in use for the past 24 years.
Representative Robert Wittke Wisconsin Assembly District 62 (R-Racine) and Representative Jim Steineke Majority Leader Assembly District 5 (R-Kaukauna) have been working on resolving the conflicting interpretations, also.
All three Legislators have signed the initial draft of the letter to AG Kaul.
The email request sent to all the Legislators asks for their support signature by August 14, 2020.
Immediately, contact your Wisconsin Legislators and request their support and signature on the letter from Representative Neylon’s office.
