Old Cars Reader Wheels: 1964 Ford Galaxie 500

William McCoy bought himself this beautiful 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 for his 60th birthday. His first car was a 1963 -1/2 Galaxie 500 XL, and he still regrets letting it go. He stated that the ’64 is a cruiser with a 289 V8.

When he purchased the Galaxie 500 it had only 71,000 miles on the clock. Since then he has done minor mechanical upgrades and installed new upholstery.

This Galaxie 500 definitely is a head turner.
