Spring Fling: Carlisle Swap Meet

There are 10 annual events hosted on the fairgrounds of Carlisle Events, but none is more likely to be as awaited as the Spring Carlisle event, to be held April 23-27 in Carlisle, Pa.

Spring Carlisle Swap Meet and Car Corral marks the start of swap meet season each year, when long-hibernated parts come out for a new season of trading. And Spring Carlisle is the place to look for them.

Approximately 100,000 attendees see more than 3,000 vendors in 8,100 vendor and car corral spaces during the event. And for those looking to buy a collector car, there are more than 1,800 vehicles of all makes, models and prices for sale in the car corral.

For the third year, a sister event takes place just one block away at the Carlisle Expo Center. The third annual Spring Carlisle Auction heralds real cars at real prices, showcasing antique, collector and special-interest vehicles. More than 250 vehicles are set to cross the block April 25-26, and will include collector cars of all types.

Spring Carlisle has evolved into an event that offers a complete automotive experience, and it’s one few collectors miss.
