Fall festivities at the Gilmore Car Museum

Though the weather is starting to cool, the Gilmore Car Museum is heating up with fall festivities.

Hickory Corners, Mich. - As students settle into a new school year and we enjoy the last of our lake days, the museum is busy planning a fall season of festivities for all of our friends to enjoy. Wrapping up the final stretch of Wednesday Night Cruise-Ins and summer car shows is always bittersweet, but we still have so much to look forward to this year.

Join the Gilmore for Wednesday Night Cruise-In on September 20 for their movie night fundraiser, presented by Harding’s Friendly Markets & Our Family. They're showing Ford v. Ferrari in celebration of the Ford GT40 Mk II from the film, currently on display in our Supercars Then & Now exhibit in the main gallery. Admission is FREE, so grab your favorite sweatshirt and come enjoy the film surrounded by friends and fall foliage.

Cruise-In starts at 5:00 PM with the film beginning at 7:30 PM. Bring your own chairs and blankets, but please leave the snacks to the museum! While admission to movie night is free to the public, this is a museum fundraiser so we ask that you purchase snacks at the event. We’ll have popcorn, hot dogs, candy, soda, and even drinks from the bar all available for purchase.

The Gilmore wills till have a few more car shows left on the calendar for September. Each show runs from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and the Blue Moon Diner, Heritage Cafe and Tailgate Bar will all be open serving food and drinks:
