Early Ford V-8 Foundation and old cars hobby friend, Frank Scheidt has died
Frank Scheidt, Communication Director for the Early Ford V-8 Foundation and friend of the old car hobby, has passed away.
John Knecht, Vice President, the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum informed us of the sad news of the passing of Frank Scheidt.
“I am sorry to bear the sad news of the passing of Frank Scheidt from the Covid-19 virus a few weeks ago. It is a big loss to the segment of the old car hobby that is focused on early Ford V-8s.
Frank, was the Communication Director for the Early Ford V-8 Foundation and its Museum in Auburn, Indiana. He was the one responsible for the Foundation Newsletter and so much more. Frank also was the editor for the Ford Legend (the newsletter of the Henry Ford Heritage Association), the newsletter of the National Ford Tool Collectors group, and a vital contributor to The V-8 Times; the award winning publication of the Early Ford V-8 Club of America as an Associate Editor. Frank was full of life, energy and passion for the old car hobby that we all love. He will be dearly missed and warmly remembered by many.”
