CINCINNATI _ The Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance, formerly known as the Ault Park Concours d’Elegance, celebrates its 40th show June 11 at Cincinnati’s historic Ault Park. Sunday’s car show will be preceded by a number of other events throughout the weekend. The show’s special displays include 50 years of Camaro and Firebird, tuner cars: custom tuners and factory-backed tuners as well as 13 regular classes of classic, vintage and exotic vehicles, and motorcycles.

“Marking the 40th year of our Concours, we felt this was the time to update our event name to be more geographically inclusive”, said Rich Frantz, president of The Cincinnati Concours Foundation, the non-profit organization that runs the annual car show and weekend of events. “We surveyed the domestic and international concours landscape and with the vast majority of concours events being named for the city where they occur, we believe following suit will aid in our continued elevation of the stature of the event”.

Show weekend begins with a Friday evening cocktail party at the American Sign Museum on June 9 at 7pm; followed by three events on Saturday, June 10: Open House at Metalkraft Coachwerkes from 8:30-10:30 a.m.; the Countryside Tour at 12 noon where participants will meet at Voice of America Park, West Chester, Ohio and drive to the Packard Museum in Downtown Dayton; and the Hangar Party at 5 p.m. at Executive Jet Management’s hangar at Lunken Airport.

Sunday’s car show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ault Park. There will be a brunch at the Ault Park Pavilion at 11 a.m.. Advance ticket purchase is required for brunch. Tickets for all weekend events can now be purchased online at https://www.showclix.com/events/25004. Advance purchase of car show tickets are discounted, as are weekend package tickets.
