CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Hornets Nest Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will welcome more than 150,000 collector vehicle devotees to the Charlotte AutoFair on the grounds of the Charlotte Motor Speedway for four days of automotive fun April 6-9.
On Saturday, the Hornets Next Region is hosting the 10th Charlotte AACA Southeastern Spring Meet with more than 300 pristine show vehicles ready for judging. The AACA Meet is held in front of the track on Highway U.S. 29. There is no admission fee. The Region will also host a “Cruise-In Charlotte AutoFair” on Thursday and Friday.
The AutoFair will feature four flea market fields covered with more than 9,000 vendor spaces of automotive parts and supplies. Gates open for public admission at 8 a.m. Sellers may purchase flea market and car corral spaces upon arrival, but are encouraged to purchase in advance. The speedway will sponsor displays on Saturday and Sunday. There will be more than 40 other car clubs with hundreds of modified, customized and original vehicles, plus special displays in the garage area.
