Old Cars We’d Buy That: 1953 Jaguar XK120
Looking sharp in a ’53 Jaguar. Yeah, we’d buy that!
We don't know why the guy (or gal) who has had this cool 1953 Jaguar for the past 52 years is finally deciding to sell it, but we know if we had it we'd be the only ones showing up in one of these babies at the local Dairy Queen cruise-in. For that reason alone we'd love to take her home.
The two-tone burgundy and black paint is stunning, and according to the listing the Jag had a lengthy restoration that was completed in 2005 — and it still looks great.
The 3.4-liter inline six isn't original, so this isn't going to be a concours car, but it looks like it would be a blast to drive if a guy could keep it running good. We'd sure like to give it whirl!
