Last year Corvette salesman Rick Paulick came to see me at Gunner’s Great Garage. He said he was starting a new indoor car show in Green Bay, Wis. For years the “World of Wheels” had given the city an indoor show in early spring, but then that event left the Green Bay market. Paulick felt that a new indoor show would be just the ticket. He called his new indoor show the New Motorama.

Now, the Second Annual “New Motorama” motorsports expo and custom vehicle show is in the works. This venue will take place April 1-3, 2016 at Shopko Hall and the Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena. The indoor show will put pinstripers and metal fabricators in the spotlight.

“Masters of the Brush” will feature some of the nation’s best pinstripers. They will paint items that will be auctioned off daily for breast cancer research.

“Metal Mania” will include metal shaping seminars by Ron Covell, Dave Byron and Matt Schmelzer.

The car show will feature competition vehicles, sports cars, motorcycles, street rods, low riders, SUVs, Jeeps and dune buggies. The overall Grand Champion car wins a guaranteed $1,000 award.
