Old Cars Reader Wheels: The Ted Geldberg collection

Old Cars spotlights a reader submitted 1972 DeTomaso Pantera and 1968 Pontiac GTO.

Ted Geldberg was kind enough to send us pics of his Pantera and GTO. This is what he had to say about his rides…

I was reading the article about Jay Bernstein's yellow Pantera (Click here for Pantera story) and thought I'd send you some pics of mine as well as another old car of mine. My Pantera is a 1972 Pre-L model that has been restored and modified within a stock body. New 500+hp stroked Cleveland engine, all new leather interior with diamond quilted C4 Corvette seats, leather dash and firewall, flush windshield glass, headers, mufflers, and cooling system upgrades.

The other old car pictured here is my 1968 Pontiac GTO, my favorite body style of all time. It revolutionized how car bodies would forever be made out of non-metal materials (the Endura bumper) and the hood with its scoops, bulges, and hood tachometer has to be the sexiest piece of sculpture in automotive history.
