Old Cars Reader Wheels: 1973 Pontiac Trans Am
Old Cars spotlights a reader’s 1973 Pontiac Trans Am.
Stephen House is living the life with his sweet Poncho! He named his Trans Am Brooster... You gotta love it!
"In 1973 I went to Bill Beck Pontiac in Charlotte on the last day I could order a ‘73. The second week of August my Buccaneer Red 4-speed beauty arrived! I tried getting the SD version but was told they were having rod problems and were not available. I moved to Illinois in summer of '76 only to have a 16-year-old run a stop sign and hit me broadside, 2 months before it would have been paid for! Found this one in ‘01, after a 2-year rotisserie restoration in ‘11 here is BROOSTER in all it’s glory! I was told when I bought it it was an original red car only to find an original green 4-spd ac car!"
