Old Cars Reader Wheels: 1965 Ford Mustang Resto Mod
Once his dad’s and eventually his high school ride, this ’65 ‘Stang has entered it’s third act in life as a resto-mod.
Frank Farabough has brought his father’s Mustang back to life with the help of a few friends.
Here’s Frank’s story on the ’Stang…
"My father purchased it brand new in 1965, and it saw a few Ohio winters. I took ownership of it at age 14 and started driving it when I was 16. I eventually painted it in high school. About 8 years ago I dragged it to my body shop and finally tore it apart 4 years ago. With the expertise and help of all my friends, we completely restored it to a resto-mod vehicle."
"I still have the original license plate which is registered t it now.”
