Old Cars Reader Wheels: 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible

"As a teenager in 1966 I purchased a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS hardtop for $1,800. Three years later I was married and expecting our first child, so the car had to go for a “family car”. Fast forward to 2009 and I found a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible only 40 miles away. After a 3 year restoration I had the car of my teenage years. Same color, Palomar red with black interior, and with the same wife to bring back the fun and memories of our teen years."
