A 1949 Crosley is about to return to service for the North Platte, Nebraska fire department.
Chuck Johnson's Crosley has been delighting for years. Here’s the story behind this pint-sized fire truck…
"In 1969 several members of the North Platte, Nebraska fire department, including myself bought a 1949 Crosley station wagon and made a "fire truck" out of it for kids to ride in. I retired in 1984 and bought it in 1986. I am 83 years old now and I am donating it back to the fire department soon."
