Gerardo gave us the 4-1-1 on his Ford pony...
"I recently purchased a 1978 Mustang Mach 1. I consider this car to be kind of unique since, unlike many of its siblings, it is equipped with the Ford 302 V8 engine from factory. This vehicle spent its entire life in California and has accrued 50k original miles, backed up by dozens upon dozens of service receipts religiously kept by its original owner. It still has the original window sticker, California blue-and-yellow license plate, and owner's card also were preserved and provided. The car still sports its original red/black combo paint and there is not a spec of rust anywhere. The interior is all original and in very good shape. The car also comes with original air conditioning and is a 3-speed automatic. It is pretty much bone-stock and a true survivor. I have read a lot about the love/hate relationship with the Mustang II platform but, after driving this vehicle, I do not see motive for any hate."
