From repair manuals to automotive history, thousands of old car resources are at your fingertips

Old Cars Weekly has been in the magazine and book business for four decades now, but never before in our history have we had more to offer old car fanatics than we do today.

In our jam-packed online bookstore, we have compiled literally thousands of reference and resource books, how-to books, car care products, CDs and DVDs, model cars, T-shirts and just about anything you can think of for today’s discerning hobbyist. Many of the books and other items we have now are products we’ve never offered before.

And you can find it all in one place at www.shopoldcarsweekly.com.

Our inventory now includes more than 400 repair manuals, including the Chilton and Hayes series books covering everything from Mustangs to Volkswagens. Included are great books, written by experts, covering engine building, interior restoration, bodywork, paint, general repair, washing and detailing, customizing, and just about any other area of hands-on work a shade tree mechanic might run up against.

Our store also includes dozens of engine casting and cowl tag number ID books to aid in VIN decoding. Need to find out if a car is a true “numbers matching” vehicle? We have books that can help you do your detective work.

Our store also includes scores of titles covering nameplates like Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, GTO, Ferrari, Porsche and many more individual nameplates. We have full menus of books on muscle Mopars, golden age muscle cars, 1950s Chevrolets and other favorites. You’ll find books on virtually any popular American car, and a huge number of books covering imported cars as well — everything from Bentley to Lamborghini to Jaguar to long-lost cars of the Soviet union.

And we’ve got lots of unusual and specialty books, too, covering: military vehicles, 18-wheelers, fire trucks, hearses and professional cars, busses, motorcycles and RV’s. You want information on really weird stuff? Check out “Weird Cars.” Own your own garbage truck, vintage snowmobile, tour bus or heavy construction crane? We’ve got books on those, too.

For fans of high-end muscle and performance cars, we offer fancy hardcover works like “Million Dollar Muscle Cars,” “Corvette Masterpieces” and “Muscle Car Dream Garages.” Speaking of garages, if you want to see some great places to hang out, take a look at “Ultimate Garages,” “Dream Garages” and “Motor City Dream Garages.”

In the mood to revisit some famously lousy cars? “Crap Cars” and “Lemon: Sixty Heroic Automotive Failures” are sure to bring back some fun memories.

For racing buffs, we offer more than 100 works covering NASCAR, drag racing, Formula 1 and off-roading with great biographies about many racing legends.

For hobbyists who want to be able to get information on their car instantly and without leaving home, we’ve got more than 70 digital downloads available for just $2.99 each with technical specifications, photos and histories for hundreds of makes and models.

Need something to decorate your garage or shop? Check out the cool inventory of signs, garage accessories and other items in our Busted Knuckles Garage.
