Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend’s huge classic car chow is coming April 16th, featuring 5 bands, 800 classic cars & more!
Las Vegas - As part of the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend’s 25th Anniversary, the VLV Car Show is Saturday, April 16th. It’s one of the largest classic car shows in North America, featuring over 800 vintage cars, all pre-1964, as well as famous movie cars, tons of vendors selling vintage and reproduction clothing and memorabilia, and the VLV “Queen of the Car Show” Pin-up Contest. One day tickets are available for the Car Show event for those not attending the full 4-day festival. Kids 15 and under are admitted free with parents.
The show has announced performances by: The Blasters, The Rhythm Shakers, Big Sandy & the Flyrite Boys, The Surfrajettes, and The Royal Hounds at the Car Show on Saturday, April 16th.
This year’s four-day festival will feature 80 bands, 30 DJs and multiple events including Rockabilly & Original 50s Music, the Classic Car Show, a Burlesque Showcase and Competition, a Vintage Fashion Show, Dance Lessons and Competition, Tiki Pool Parties, Swimsuit Contests, Burlesque Bingo, a Pin-Up Contest, over 120 Vendors, Record Hops till 7am and more. VLV attracts some of the most eye-catching, stylish, head-turning people you will ever see in one place.

WHERE: The Orleans Hotel, 4500 W. Tropicana, Las Vegas.
TICKETS: One day tickets are available for the car show for $40 in advance and on the day.
The Blasters formed in the early 1980s and have spent their lives exploring and expressing the deep and diverse musical legacy that is best described by the title of their first album: American Music. Blasters shows have been described as “a cross between Creedence and the Clash,” with a display of passion and energy only deepened by decades of experience.
The Rhythm Shakers are a female-fronted band that have the look and sound of a late 50’s and early 60’s rock and roll band keeping their eyes widely up aimed at the most interesting sounds of 60’s soul, blues and modern music.
Big Sandy & the Flyrite Boys Beginning in the 80s, Robert "Big Sandy" Williams played with several bands on the Southern California Rockabilly & Roots scene before forming Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Trio in 1988. With an almost constant touring schedule that has taken the band many times around the globe, the band continues to be a key fixture on the ever-changing Americana circuit.
The Surfrajettes, an all-female four-piece instrumental combo from Toronto, ON, Canada. Since forming in late 2015, the band has charmed audiences with their clever mix of psychedelic rock and reverb-drenched surf music, sky-high beehives, go-go boots, and eyeliner as thick as their guitar strings.
Also performing: Nashville’s The Royal Hounds.
