Collector David Cammack, who owned three of the 47 remaining cars in existence designed by Preston Tucker, died on April 7, 2013.

Even though he put the Tuckers (#1001, #1022 and #1026) on display in a secluded museum in Old Town Alexandria, Va., the "Cammack Collection" was world famous.

The 87-year-old boasted the world's most extensive collection of Tucker cars, memorabilia, Tucker mechanical parts and 50,000 blueprints for every component on the car. And he personally provided the tours of his collection.

Some time before his passing, Cammack made it known that after his death the collection would not be broken up. He endowed the complete collection to the Antique Automobile Club of America’s museum in Hershey, Pa., where it will eventually be displayed in a 3,500 wing that Cammack’s brother Bill, who predeceased him, funded.

Here Cammack speaks in a video about his passion...
