HERSHEY, PA - The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and the Hershey Region AACA will welcome antique and collectible car enthusiasts from all over the world to Hershey, Pa, for the Eastern Division Fall Meet, Oct. 5-8. More than 700 volunteers from the region work all year long for the benefit of old car enthusiasts around the world. Admission to the public is free. Visit the flea market with 9,000 vendor spaces, wander among the almost 1,300 collector cars on display and experience the Car Corral where 1,000 antique cars will be up for sale. The show attracts more than 250,000 visitors each year.
The show is open dawn to dusk, Wednesday through Saturday. All events are held on the grounds surrounding Hersheypark and the Giant Center.

Don't Miss These Highlights During Hershey Meet Week 2016:

AACA Library Yard Sale 

(October 4, 4-7 p.m., 501 W. Governor Rd., Hershey)

For the third year in a row, the AACA Library and Research Center will be holding its literature and collectibles sale. They will be selling duplicate items from their extensive collection, including sales literature, brochures, shop manuals, owner's manuals, books, etc. Check out a video created by the Library staff to advertise the event.

Flea Market 

(Oct. 5-8, 7 a.m. - dusk, 550 Hersheypark Drive, Hershey)

Thousands of vendors converge on Hershey and take over almost every inch of ground surrounding Hersheypark and the Giant Center. Car parts, tires, gas pumps, collectibles, etc.

Night at the Museum

(Oct. 5, 6-10 p.m., 161 Museum Dr., Hershey)

A casual evening with friends and fellow enthusiasts showcasing the newest upgraded exhibit area featuring Route 66. The evening will also feature a plentiful variety of foods and cocktails with a Route 66 flair, along with a silent auction, entertainment and automotive artist gallery. The event will include A Collector Car Conversation with Wayne Carini, host of Chasing Classic Cars, along with noted car collector Ralph Marano and moderated by Bill Warner, founder and chairman of the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. RM Sotheby's 10th anniversary Hershey sale Oct. 6-7 at Hershey Lodge is known for its presentation of exceptional Brass and Classic Era motor cars, with a strong emphasis on significant American marques.

Vintage Race Car Conditioning Run & Hughes High-Wheeler Event

(October 7, 11 a.m., Hershey Stadium, 100 West Hersheypark Drive, Hershey)

The Race Car Conditioning Run is part of the ritual that is Hershey Meet Week. This year, there are 25 race cars registered for this unique event including oval track, sports cars, Indy cars and motorcycles. There is a 75-year history of race cars driving around the Hershey Stadium, starting with the midget car races during the depression.

AACA Hershey Car Show 

(October 8, 7 a.m., field on N. Hockersville Rd. behind PA American Water, Hershey)

Rows and rows of almost 1,300 collector cars. At noon in front of the Giant Center, Juniors at Hershey present "Do It On Dirt," a display of vintage sprint cars. Youth are invited to help disassemble a Mini Indy car and experience the evolution of automotive horns. Also on display will be the Hiram Hillegass (Offy Killer), a sprint car piloted by Mario Andretti during the USAC competition in 1964. own an antique car to join the AACA. Dues are only $35 a year and include a subscription to our award-winning magazine.
