There is a lot of speculation of just what this 23,000 original mile 1965 Shelby GT350 will bring at Bonhams.

As the temperatures start warming up for in the Scottsdale-Phoenix area, record crowds have been reported for the second day of the Barrett-Jackson auction, while the other five sales held in the area are also gearing up for what promises to see some record prices in the collector-car world.

Over at the Bonhams preview today we fell in love with a 1959 Chevrolet Apache 31 NAPCO 4-wheel drive pickup that has been restored to perfection. One of the most interesting cars at Bonhams is an all original 1903 Oldsmobile “Curved Dash Model R runabout, still wearing its factory paint, pinstripes and decals, only the tires appear to be from a later era.

This all original (with exception of the tires) 1903 Oldsmobile “Curved Dash” runabout is getting a lot of attention at the Bonhams preview in Scottsdale.

Bonhams will also be offering a number of collectible items including a selection of Lalique mascots. It was just last August at Quail Lodge in California that Bonham’s sold the Fox, a very rare Lalique ornament for an record setting $380,000. Tomorrow the gavel drops at Bonham’s we will be bringing you highlights of the sale.

We fell in love with the concours-quality restoration of this 1959 Chevrolet Apache 31 4-sheel drive beauty, crossing the block on Thursday at Bonhams in Scottsdale.
