New exhibit ‘Driven to Win: Racing in America’ to open at the Henry Ford March 27th

Dearborn, Mich. - The Henry Ford is joining forces with General Motors for the Driven to Win: Racing in America exhibit Presented by General Motors.
This permanent exhibition inside Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation will open to the public on Saturday, March 27, and we will have a special member preview Friday, March 26. Please visit thf.org for more details.
This state-of-the-art, highly interactive exhibition is spread across 24,000 square feet, Driven to Win focuses on racing through the lens of innovation and features 23 of some of the most significant vehicles in racing history, 225 artifacts and a new multisensory theater that showcases an adrenaline-pumping film created especially for this exhibit. In addition, six driver simulators will put our guests behind the wheel of some of the fastest cars on the most challenging tracks throughout the world.
Built on The Henry Ford's collection of historically significant race cars and artifacts, Driven to Win explores over a century of American auto racing history through multiple interactive zones. The exhibit tells the authentic, compelling stories of the passion, inspiration and innovation that propel drivers and teams to victory — people like Dan Gurney, A.J. Foyt, Wendell Scott, Lyn St. James, Bobby Unser, Brehanna Daniels, the Wood Brothers and more.
