The Elegance at Hershey announced the appointments of Bill Rothermel and Phil Fleck to its Board of Directors. "Bill and Phil are great additions to our Board," said Elegance Executive Director Don Stabilito. "They will lend unique perspectives to the organization as successful businessmen, entrepreneurs, auto restorers, collectors and concours judges. We are privileged to have them join us."

Rothermel is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Rolls-Royce Foundation in Mechanicsburg, Pa.; the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey; and the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles in Boyertown, Pa. He is the 2012 recipient of the Robert Shaffner Award recognizing his contributions to the Rolls-Royce Foundation. He currently serves as the master of ceremonies of the Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance in Boca Raton, Fla. the Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance in Pinehurst, N.C., the 100 Motorcars of Radnor Hunt in Malvern, Pa.; the St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance, St. Michaels, Md.; The Elegance, Hershey, Pa.; the Monmouth County Concours d'Elegance in Monmouth, N.J.; the Edison Concours d'Elegance in West Orange, N.J.; and the Winter Park Concours in Winter Park, Fla. He served most recently as a judge at the Winter Park Concours; Classic Sports Sunday in Palm Beach, Floa; the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance in Greenwich, Conn.; and the Concours of the Americas at St. Johns in Plymouth, Mich. In recent years, he has officiated as master of ceremonies at the York Concours d'Elegance, the Concours d'Elegance of the Eastern United States, the Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Vehicles, Cars Under the Stars, the Utah Concours d'Elegance, the Pacific Northwest Concours d'Elegance, the Milwaukee Masterpiece and the Concours d'Elegance at Stan Hywet Hall.

As a freelance writer, Rothermel's work has been featured in national, international, club and concours publications, including Old Cars Weekly. Most recently, he authored the narrative for the "Auto/Photo - American Car Culture in Photography" exhibit at the Hunan Provincial Museum in China in conjunction with photographer Michael Furman.

Fleck is a retired medical device company executive and is currently a director of Norwich Ventures, a venture capital firm focusing on early stage Medtech companies. He has had a lifetime passion for classic cars and is a collector of post-war European sports cars, including Mercedes, Jaguar, Porsche and MG vehicles. Actively involved with his family business, Classic Era Motors, a restoration shop in Fleetwood, Pa., Fleck is also a board member and collections chairman of the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles in Boyertown, Pa.

He has participated and judged in many Concours events, including The Elegance at Hershey, St. Michaels, Boca Raton, Louisville, Pinehurst, Cobble Beach and the Eastern United States Concours (Concours Cabinet and Selection Committee).
