Vintage Metal From the Plains of Texas Up for Auction
If you are in the market for “unmolested” vintage metal, Buick Nailhead V-8s, and a collection of weathered cars ranging from a’41 Plymouth “Woodie” to a ’29 Model A, and you are going to be near Plainview, Texas on April 19, then you will probably want to check out the Marvin Marshall Estate Sale.
Finding solid pre-war cars that haven’t been crushed or rusted away into piles of dust is getting harder to do all the time. And all too often, when you do find them, you quickly realize that many people simply aren’t willing to part with grandpa’s ol’ car that is slowly rusting away out in the fence row.
However, every once in a while you come across a an auction or a collection of vintage metal that is for sale; when you do it is usually a good idea to check it out since these opportunities are becoming few and far between.
