Iola theme cars needed: Join the ‘Showdown in I-Town’
Iola Old Car Show organizers are looking for a few good Chevys and Fords to fill their theme tent this summer.
The 2013 Iola Old Car Show will celebrate two hobby favorites — Chevrolet and Ford — with many exciting and special displays for its "Showdown in I-Town." One of those special displays will include comparisons between competing Fords and Chevrolets, and the Iola show staff is looking for your help.
In an effort to compare notable Chevrolets and Fords under the theme tent, show organizers and the Wisconsin Society of Automotive Historians are looking for the following vehicles in excellent condition and in factory condition:
- Chevrolet 490 and Ford Model T
- 1950 Bel Air and 1951 Victoria
- ’59 El Camino
- ’57 Ranchero
- Monza
- Maverick
- Vega
- Pinto
- Blazer
- Bronco
- Advance-Design and F1 trucks
- Chevy Van
- Ford Econoline/Falcon van.
