Houston in high gear for Chevy Expo

The Corvette/Chevy Expo will welcome the hosts of the new TV series “Corvette Nation” this weekend in Houston.

Visitors can see this 1969 Corvette called the “AstroVette,” once owned by Alan Bean, an Apollo 12 astronaut and the fourth human to set foot on the moon, at the Corvette Chevy Expo Feb. 15-16 in Houston, Texas.

HOUSTON, Texas – Corvette/Chevy Expo will welcome the hosts of the new TV series Corvette Nation at the Feb. 15-16 event at the Reliant Center.

Bill Stephens and Maria Prekeges host the Corvette Nation TV series. Stephens is a Corvette enthusiast, television producer, host and writer. Prekeges is a host and producer for both automotive and sports TV shows. Together they will be bringing their TV crew to the Corvette Chevy Expo to film for the second season of Corvette Nation.

Corvette Nation takes an in-depth look at the Chevrolet Corvette, Corvette events and Corvette enthusiasts. It started televising in the fall of 2013 on Discovery’s “Velocity” Network in prime time. The show aired produced 13 weekly episodes for season one.
Other event highlights will include a car sales mart with classic cars of all makes and models for sale and a bikini contest presented by Swimsuit USA on Sunday.

The Corvette Chevy Expo holds two events a year, one in Houston and one in Dallas. The Corvette Chevy Expo is a production of Vette Vues Magazine, a monthly Corvette magazine for Corvette enthusiasts publishing since 1972.
