CARLISLE, PA – The 25th anniversary of the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals runs July 15-17 and the LARGEST all-Mopar themed event in the world was already set to be a stellar event. Now, with the event weekend less than three months away, Carlisle Events announced the inclusion of two very special guests from the iconic TV show The Dukes of Hazzard. For three days this summer, fans can meet Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) and Rick Hurst (Deputy Cletus Hogg) to talk all things Dukes, get an autograph, photo and more.

Rick Hurst comes to Carlisle for the first time ever, but for Dukes fans, he’s no stranger to gatherings like this. With TV credits dating back to 1971 and as recently as 2012, Hurst has appeared on programs like M*A*S*H, Melrose Place, 227, CHiPS, Kojak, Sanford and Son, Gunsmoke, the Partridge Family and more. Big screen credits include Karate Kid III, Return of the Killer Shrews, Suckers, Anywhere but Here and more. Of course he’s most known as the bumbling right hand of Roscoe and Boss Hogg from his years on Dukes of Hazzard where he appeared in 47 of the 147 episodes.

Catherine Bach returns to Carlisle by popular demand, and for the first time since 2012. She is the only TV star ever to come to a car show at Carlisle whose character inspired a fashion trend; Daisy Duke shorts. Her role as Daisy made her a Hollywood sex symbol and while she went on to star in many movies and shows and is still active today; fans will always know her as Daisy. Bach has appeared in multiple films and TV programs, beginning with 1974’s “The Midnight Man” alongside Hollywood icon Burt Lancaster. Other credits include “The Love Boat,” “Cannon Ball Run II,” “African Skies” and most recently “Chapman.” Fans of the new Hawaii Five-O program on CBS may have seen her during a 2015 episode as a wedding planner and Bach has also lent her name to a clothing line, CB by Catherine Bach. Apparel available includes jeans, skirts, shirts and the famed Daisy Dukes.

Bach and Hurst join a long line of Dukes Cast members to appear at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. Others include James Best (Sheriff Roscoe), John Schneider (Bo Duke), Byron Cherry (Coy Duke), Christopher Mayer (Vance Duke), Sonny Shroyer (Enos), Ben Jones (Cooter) and Tom Wopat (Luke Duke). Bach and Hurst will appear together throughout the weekend. While their appearance schedule and on grounds location is TBD, each will be onsite to sign autographs, pose for photos and meet fans all three days.

Registration for the showfield, swap meet and car corral is open and available via www.CarlisleEvents.com or by calling 717-243-7855. Further, a daily ticket is $12, with kids 12 and under free. A three day pass can be had for the discounted rate of $25.
