The Dezer Collection Museum in North Miami, Fla., transports guests back to the inception of one of mankind’s greatest inventions — the automobile. Featuring cars spanning back to the turn of the 20th century, the museum’s American Classics exhibition highlights the manufacturers, early technological features and custom models that shaped America’s automotive industry.
The museum’s most renowned classic cars include the Model A Ford, Cord, Packard, Cadillac, Chevrolet, one of four surviving 1927 Duesenberg Model X models of just 13 built, and many others.
The 50,000-sq.-ft. Dezer Collection also highlights the international manufacturers that played an integral role in the evolution of the automobile. The museum features restored vintage automobiles from more than a dozen countries, all showcased in dioramas depicting each automobile’s international origin. Notable European classics in these dioramas include Citroen, Fiat, Moskvich, Zaz, Daf, Sabra, AutoUnion/Audi and more.
Car enthusiasts and cinephiles alike have plenty to like in the Dezer Collection’s James Bond museum display, the largest of its kind. Artifacts in the exhibit are valued at more than $15 million, and they include six Aston Martins, motorcycles, submarines, airplanes, helicopters, boats, snowmobiles and the “Golden Gun” itself, and a T-55 Soviet tank featured in the 1995 Bond film “Goldeneye.” The museum also displays other silver-screen vehicles, such as the Bluesmobile and a Batmobile, among others.
In addition to displaying cars, the Dezer Collection also offers cars for sale for those visitors who want to take home a slice of museum. It also opens its doors to private events, and features a ’50s-style diner, the “Batman Lounge” and an indoor drive-in theater.
