Making the trek to the FCA National Meet in Kingsport, TN? Here is the 2023 Schedule of Events

Thursday

9 am - Noon. Club Room Setup in the Convention Center B. Show up and we will put you to work!

9 - 11:00 am. Cars & Coffee Grab a donut and coffee and visit with fellow members under the Big Tent onthe show field.

12 pm - 4 pm. Club Room open for Pre-Registration packet pickup, Registration, Club Store, Raffles, Displays. (Do not forget to use your $2 coupon when you buy your show shirt!)

All Day - Swap Meet area for FCA-car-related parts.

Friday

8 am – 8:30 am – Convention Center B open for last chance registrations for Bristol only.

9:00 am. On your own to Bristol Motor Speedway. Please arrive at the track by 9:45am. It is a 24 mile drive and takes about 30 minutes to get there. See directions.

Drivers - Don’t forget to wear your wristband for Bristol Motor Speedway!

9 am - 4 pm. Convention Center B open for Registration, Club Store, Raffles, and Displays.

4:00-4:30 pm. Judges’ Meeting in the Crockett Amphitheater Room. For all interested in learning about or participating in judging, including those with cars in the judged “C” and “O” classes.

4:30-5pm. Car Show/Events Meeting (formerly known as Mini-Meets) in the Crockett Amphitheater Room. For all members interested in club shows, including current and potential hosts and participants.

8 pm – Movie Night – Convention Center B – Choice of: Smokey and the Bandit, The Gumball Rally, Gone in 60 Seconds, Ford vs Ferrari or American Graffiti. Also a short film: Two Tars (Laurel & Hardy).

All Day - Swap Meet area for FCA-car-related parts.

Saturday - Show Day!

8 am - 4 pm. Show field up and running! Cars to remain on the show field until 4 pm.

8 am - 4 pm. Convention Center B open. Registration, Club Store, Raffles, Displays, Door Prizes.

9:30 - 11:30 am. Hagerty Youth Judges Meeting: See Deb at the Registration Desk in Club Room to pick up your judging gear & go over instructions. Judging will take approx. 90 mins. after the meeting.

10 am. Judging of the Unrestored Original and Concours classes begins.

10 am. Photographing of show cars begins.

11 am. Registration closes. Voting commences for Participant-voted classes. Be sure to turn in

all yellow and/or pink ballots by 1:30 pm at the Big Tent or in the Convention Center B Room.

11 am - 1:30 pm. Lunch Concession near the near the show field. (times approximate).

1:30 pm. Vote counting begins. Those assigned to counting please report to the Boone & Cherokee Room.

3 pm. Kids’ Hot Wheels® Mini-Drags in the Convention Center B Room. Kids 15 & under, bring your

Hot Wheels® car, or borrow a loaner. (Each child must be accompanied by an adult.)

7 pm. Awards Presentation begins in the Convention Center B Room. Media presentation, Awards presented in Judged and Participant-voted classes and Hot Wheels® competition; Door Prize and Raffle, Grocery & Penny Guess winners announced.

All Day - Swap Meet area for FCA-car-related parts.

Sunday morning - Farewells until next time!

A special note on Participant and Ladies’ Choice Voting. Members may register their cars until 11 am on Saturday, so please do not finalize your voting ballots prior to 11 am.

The FCA National is a member event, provided for members and made possible by members, and they always welcome new folks to join and participate.
