Gilmore Car Museum welcomes the 2013 CORSA International Convention
The West Michigan Corvair Club is hosting their 43rd Annual Corvair Society of America's International Convention Car Show at the Gilmore Car Museum on Saturday, July 20.
Show organizers anticipate more than 200 Corvairs of all makes and models, cars and trucks – including the Corvair-powered UltraVan – along with more than 600 enthusiasts, who will come from all over the US, Canada, and as far as the Netherlands.
"This is the only time that the general public will have the opportunity to view Corvairs of every make, model or year built in one place at one time," said convention chair Dave Dykwell. "This is a truly unique event and we invite anyone who has an interest in the most uniquely-built American-made car."
This event is open to the general public and everyone is invited to bring any 1960's classic car to participate in the Cruise-In style event, featuring the Chevrolet Corvair. This event will definitely be a flashback to the '60s, with a live DJ spinning all your favorite songs of the decade and a '60s fashion contest will add a little extra 'flair' to the day as well.
Break out those bell bottoms, vests, headbands, peace symbols and loafers and let the sunshine in this Saturday at the Gilmore Car Museum!
