Manitowoc County Auction to include Classic Cars, Car Parts and Antiques
MANITOWOC – Newton Classic Cars (also known as TR Truck & Auto) will be hosting an inventory liquidation sale on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at its location in Newton, Wisconsin. The auction will showcase a variety of muscle and classic cars as well as tons of engines, parts and antiques.
The auction will feature a 1963 Chevy Biscayne with a 502 V-8, 1958 Chevrolet coupe and sedan, 1968 Pontiac LeMans, 1987 Chevrolet Corvette, 1975 Jaguar XJ 6C, an antique Allis-Chalmers tractor, an antique McCormick Farmall tractor as well as a variety of car parts, engines and antiques collected over the years.
Jon and Dianne Matthias (owners) opened their business in Two Rivers in 1994 under the name TR Truck & Auto. They moved their business alongside Hwy 43 in Newton in 2002 for better exposure and started doing business under the name Newton Classic Cars. After losing Dianne to colon cancer in January 2014, Jon has decided it’s time for him to retire and enjoy his time with his six children and twelve grandchildren.
The auction will be open to the public. Bidders must register at the event with the auction house. Cash, cashier's checks or credit/debit card (3% convenience fee for all card charges) will be accepted. All property is being sold “as is” condition. Only buyers of vehicles that are paid for with cash will receive the title that day and be allowed to take the vehicle. All other forms of payment will need to wait until those transactions have been cleared.
Newton Classic Cars is located at 8010 County Road CR, Newton, WI 53063. Food will be available for purchase by The Smiling Moose Saloon and Grill. Restrooms will be on-site. Loderbauer Auctioneer & Estates LLC (Wisconsin Licensed Auctioneer #206) Cash, cashier's checks or credit/debit card (3% convenience fee for all card charges) will be accepted. Number system will be used. Wisconsin sales tax will be charged as applicable and unless an exemption certificate is presented at time of payment sales tax will be charged to all buyers. Only buyers of vehicles that are paid for with cash will receive the title that day and be allowed to take the vehicle.
