TULSA, Okla. — Leake Auction Company just announced the consignment of a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle that was featured in the fourth installment of The Fast and the Furious series. This car and 450 others will cross the auction block in Dallas Market Hall, April 17-19.
The Chevelle is in excellent condition. Purchased by the studio as an extra stunt car, this Chevelle was never jumped. The winning bidder will receive a letter of authenticity and a 6-disc DVD set of the Fast & Furious series. The car was also seen on a recent episode of The Car Chasers on CNBC when Jeff Allen purchased the Chevelle from Frank Collins of Cinema Vehicles. Jeff promptly consigned it to the Dallas auction. Over the years, Leake Auction Company has sold six of the 14 cars from The Fast and the Furious franchise that Jeff Allen has owned.
“Furious 7 is the most anticipated movie release of 2015,” stated Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “The Fast and the Furious series has an enormous following that is very loyal. With Furious 7 being the conclusion of the saga, this is an excellent car to add to a collection.”
Doors will open at 9am daily. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for military and senior with ID and $7 for children under 12. For a complete list of vehicles consigned to this auction, visit www.leakecar.com.
