The Hornets Nest Region, AACA will welcome more than 150,000 collector vehicle devotees to Charlotte AutoFair on the grounds of the world famous Charlotte Motor Speedway April 7-10, 2016.
The Hornets Nest Region’s production of Charlotte AutoFair is a vast gathering of automobile enthusiasts who will find more than 1,600 collector vehicles for sale in the Car Corral on the Track Oval – everything from early brass to great muscle cars! Four flea market fields will be covered with more than 8,000 vendor spaces of automotive parts and supplies – and many “barn find” vehicles. The event gates open for public admission at 8:00 AM - car enthusiasts may walk and shop the flea markets and car corral as long as they wish. Many vendors camp for the four days and stop selling when the buyers go for dinner!
The AACA 2016 National Southeastern Spring Meet will be a major feature, showcasing more than 300 pristine historic vehicles produced from 1900 to 1991! On Friday afternoon, spectators will have the chance to see the vintage race car condition run which is part of the AACA Spring Meet. Public admission is free for the AACA Meet located on the paved speedway lot at the intersection of US Highway 29 and Morehead Road.
In addition, the speedway will sponsor displays on Saturday and Sunday including more than forty other car clubs with hundreds of great modified, customized, and original vehicles, and special displays in the garage area. Charlotte AutoFair admission fees and all parking fees are collected by the speedway owner.
