Carlisle Chrysler Nationals go Old Skool July 9-11

The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals will feature old Skool and new Skool MoPar on July 9-11 at the Carlisle PA, grounds.

Carlisle, PA – The Carlisle Chrysler Nationals will take place July 9-11 offering  an eclectic mix of cars, car parts, vendors, displays, guests and more.

Jump-started by the annual MoPar Rebellion kick-off party at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center on July 8, the event isn’t just about looking at cars or buying within the automotive flea market, it’s about a tight-knit community of car lovers who look at this event as their “Super Bowl” of car shows.

Of course, the grounds welcome guests from far and wide, but why? Many come for the historically diverse Showfield, while others trek to Carlisle for the bulging swap meet. As displays go in 2021, themes include a showcase of 1971 vehicles – all kinds of them. In addition, the “Dirty ‘Birds” get preferential treatment. What is a Dirty ‘Bird? Well, car lovers know what a Barn Find is, but as dirty birds go, this display will highlight derelict Superbirds…ones that aren’t shiny!

Chrysler weekend also offers at least three more great displays, one hosting Survivors, another tailored to the Demon, the other a spotlight of Old Skool paint! For the paint display, cars may have a coat 40 years in the (un) making or one that is retro, but new to your ride. Either way, it’ll be a trip back in time. Finally, there will be a tribute display to the late great Mr. Norm. That display is still coming together, but will include cars and memorabilia specific to his legacy.

As special guests go, the cars and vendors certainly will get the attention of everyone through the gates, but there are some two-legged guests planned too. The Chrysler Nationals are pleased to welcome for the first time, Joe Zolper from Garage Squad on Motor Trend TV. Joe is joined by legends like the Ramchargers and Golden Commandos throughout the weekend, plus Herb McCandless and more.

See the cars in motion by way of the Real Street Autocross shootout on July 9, plus enjoy the ride of a lifetime with Dodge and their Hellcat thrill rides throughout the weekend. From car clubs to seminars, scenic car cruise and everything in between.
