HERSHEY, Pa. _ Bill Warner, founder and Chairman of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, has been named honorary chairman for The Elegance at Hershey, to be held June 9-11 at The Hotel Hershey. “We invited Bill because of his lifetime experiences and contributions to racing, race photography and journalism rank him as a true giant in the collectible hobby,” said Steve Moskowitz of The Elegance Board.
Warner’s photographs and writing have appeared in Road & Track, Car And Driver, Autoweek, The Atlantic Monthly, Automobile, Automotor und Sport, Classic & Sportscar, Porsche Panorama and Forza. He currently restores and collects interesting cars, in addition to running The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance near his home in Jacksonville, Fla.
