Auctions America returns to South Florida, April 1-3, for the company’s 14th annual Fort Lauderdale. Widely regarded not only as South Florida’s premier collector car auction, but also one of the area’s leading classic car shows, the spring event presents a wonderful showcase of automotive history and design for collectors and enthusiasts alike. This year’s event is set to present another 450 American classics, European sports cars, Detroit muscle, hot rods and customs, offering something for all automotive tastes and budgets.

Headline attractions for the April sale include:

1948 Tucker 48; a rolling symbol of the American Dream, just 51 Tuckers were built, making them a rare find at any auction. This historically-important example began life as the factory automatic transmission test chassis, and was later completed by several enthusiasts using sourced parts and patterns, resulting in a highly detailed and authentic restoration.

1931 Packard Deluxe Eight Convertible Coupe, a CCCA Full Classic, offered from its second long-term owner.

1929 Auburn 8-90 Cabriolet, presented in Black over Oxblood Red interior, and well accessorized with monogram drum headlights and matching cowllamps.

1935 Lincoln Model K V-12 Roadster by LeBaron, one of only 30 LeBaron Roadsters produced by Lincoln in 1935.

Admission: Bidder registration is $100 and includes an official auction catalogue and admission for two (2) to the preview and auction. Spectator admission is $20 for a single-day pass and $50 for an event pass, which covers the duration of the event. Children 12 and under receive free entry.

100 percent of proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County

Powered by an upsized 351-cid V-8 engine paired with an automatic transmission and performance-type shifter, this Restomod has been restored and features rack-and-pinion steering, front disc brakes, power-operated convertible top and custom wheels. Auctions America is proud to once again support the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County (BGCBC) with 100 percent of proceeds from this car’s sale, including buyer’s premium, going to the non-profit organization. The BGCBC is dedicated to helping young people improve their lives by building self-esteem and developing values and skills during their critical period of growth. Each year, the BGCBC serves more than 12,500 at-risk youth, ages 6-18, in South Florida’s Broward County.

In addition, the Fort Lauderdale sale will present a 2006 Metropolitan Luftwaffe Bf 109 E Messerschmitt custom chopper & a 2006 Metropolitan Royal Air Force Super Marine Spitfire custom chopper. Signed by G. Gordon Liddy, 100 percent of proceeds from the sale of the two motorcycles will benefit The Boys & Girls Club of Indian River County (both estimated at $7,000 - $10,000; offered without reserve).

Automobilia:
In addition to the automobiles, Auctions America’s Fort Lauderdale sale will present an assortment of automobilia, including a terrific selection of rare mascots, unheard-of Gas pump/service station lots, neon signs, fine bronzes and original art. Standout lots include a beautiful original Alfredo de la maria painting of the 1967 LeMans; a large scale Stutz Blackhack Special model of the land speed car driven by Frank Lockhart; along with a selection of 1960s era l’autopede carousel rides.
