AACA Museum’s Tucker ’48 75th Anniversary Celebration was a resounding success
Making History: The Tucker ’48 75th Anniversary Celebration at the AACA Museum
Hershey, PA - What an amazing weekend to be at the center of the Tucker universe. The AACA museum is home to the famed Cammack Tucker Collection that includes Tucker '48s #1001, #1022, and #1026 along with a Tucker movie car, a factory test chassis, and the world's largest collection of Tucker artifacts and memorabilia. For the Tucker '48 75th anniversary celebration, there was so much more, including five additional Tucker '48s!

To kick off the celebration, the museum presented a “Tucker: The Man and His Dream” movie screening at the historic Allen Theatre (Annville, PA ) sponsored by John V. Pampu, Classic Car Coach. Preston Tucker’s granddaughter Cynthia Tucker-Fordon provided commentary along with the full-length showing of the movie. Cynthia served as a member of the movie’s production crew.
Next, guests enjoyed the "Toast to Tucker" gala sponsored by JC Taylor Insurance and hosted by executive director Jeffrey Bliemeister and Tucker club senior director Mark Lieberman. The evening included the big band sounds of Generations Big Band, great food by C&J Catering, special remarks by acclaimed automotive historian, Ken Gross, and live and silent Tucker memorabilia auctions. In addition, we launched the Tucker Hall of Honor and inducted Preston Tucker and chief stylist Alex Tremulis as the first HOH members. Also, the Cammack Family Foundation was recognized for their generous support to make the David S. Cammack Archival Center (DCAC) a reality. The DCAC houses thousands of documents, artifacts and images related to motoring history.
