A realistic 1953 Corvette pedal car, officially licensed by General Motors, is now available and selling fast.

If you’re looking for a 1953 Corvette but can’t afford the full-size version, or you just want a miniature to match your favorite drive, this battery-powered pedal car is just the thing. It is an officially licensed product of General Motors Corporation now offered by Sinclair’s MiniAuto.
“Some 35 to 40 years ago we offered two great kid's cars: a battery powered Bentley and an utterly realistic 1/2 scale gasoline powered Ford GT40,” said MiniAuto owner Dave Sinclair. But finding other cars so realistically made was not easy. “Last time we visited the Crawford Auto Museum in Cleveland, OH they had one of the Ford GT40s in their collection,” Dave continued. “Since then all the pedal cars we have seen have been merely caricatures of the cars they were supposed to represent.”
That is, until now.
“Recently we discovered this authentic looking Corvette created for children from 4 to 10 years of age and decided we had finally found a pedal car that met our demands and met our criteria: heirloom quality built with children in mind, while at the same time being highly collectible.
The ‘53 Corvette pedal car has pneumatic tires, steel tubular frame, chain drive, hand brake, coaster lever, ball bearings, and an adjustable 5-position seat. It is has an A.B.S. Plastic body and is authentically detailed throughout. Each car is serially numbered with dash mounted brass VIN plates.
“It would make a great gift for your child, favorite grandchild or as the centerpiece of your own collection,” Sinclair said.
Many owners of real '53 Vettes already own this pedal car and the factory is currently completely sold out. However more are expected in May or June and pre-ordering is being accepted and is highly recommended. Required is a non-refundable deposit of $250.
In standard color White the price is $1500 plus shipping (which is $95 or less within the 48 contiguous states). MiniAuto will also custom-paint to match your real ’53 Corvette.
