Tire supplier Diamond Back Classics has heard the same thing over and over again: “Sell me a tire that looks like a bias-ply tire or looks most like a bias-ply tire.” That’s because many people like the look of a bias-ply, but do not care for their outdated technology.
For the last five years, Diamond Back Classics has been working on a product that has the driving quality of a radial, but the looks of a bias-ply tire; that new product is the Auburn Deluxe radial.
After years in development, the Auburn Deluxe has been designed to give the classic car buyer a radial that looks like a bias-ply. This innovative product should begin arriving in the early summer 2013 with five 16-inch sizes, five 15-inch sizes and more sizes to follow.
