In 1955, DeSotos were cool! That was the year they sported the hot new Virgil Exner "Forward Look", and they got to pace the Indy 500.
The Firedome was actually DeSoto's entry-level series for '55, but this is still a beautifully designed machine. This one has got neat two-tone blue paint, every works, and it it's been given a nice cosmetic restoration. She's for sale in New Castle, Wyoming.
