Pink Olds 88 station wagon owned by JoAnn and Bill Wagaman caught our eyes as we passed an Oldsmobile Club of Wisconsin show.

The Oldsmobile Club of Wisconsin is a non-profit chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America. The Oldsmobile Club of Wisconsin was the third chartered chapter of the national organization and has been in continuous operation since 1977.

The chapter says that its goal is to preserve and enjoy the cars of Oldsmobile. Anyone owning or interested in, any year or model of Oldsmobile 1897 to present is welcome the chapter (membership in the national club is required).

This chapter has to be one of the most active old-car clubs in the Basdger State because it seems like they are having an event every time we turn around. Last year the Wisconsin Chapter hosted the Oldsbmobile Club of America National Meet.

A few weeks ago, we attended a car show in downtown Hartford, Wis. We parked at the Wisconsin Automobile Museum and the parking lot was filled with Oldsmobiles of all years. It was the chapter’s annual spring get together.

Last week we were passing through the Burlington-Waterford area of the state when an old Oldsmobile on the side of the road caught our eyes. It was pink 1957 station wagon. Then, we saw that there were a lot of other vintage Oldsmobiles in the same place. The chapter was having yet another event. It had just rained on the group, but the weather did not dampen the enthusiasm.

The Oldsmobile Club of Wisconsin hosts other state and regional shows as well as membership meetings, parties, picnics and more. Members are pleased to aid other members in the restoration and maintenance of an Oldsmobile.
