2016 CCCA Museum Experience will mark event's 30th anniversary

The 30th anniversary CCCA "Classic Experience" at its Classic Car Club of America Museum will be held June 3-5 on the campus of the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Mich. In order to participate with your V-16 Cadillac, V-12 Lincoln, straight-eight Duesenberg or other Full Classic, you must register by May 2.

This year, the event will feature Senior Award-winning Classics among the grouping of all Full Classics from 1915-1948. Events being on Friday with a driving tour and barbeque, followed by a judged Classic Car Club of America Concours d'Elegance on Saturday, June 4. The evening of June 4 will include a gala dinner featuring the presentation "The Cuban Car Culture," which probes the hidden garages and backyards of Cuban automobile enthusiasts. On Sunday, a 30th anniversary of "The Experience" Car Show will provide a climax to the weekend.

Serving as grand marshal for the event will be Bill Warner, founder of Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and chairman of the Amelia Foundation.
