I liked the philosophy of a collector I talked with last week. He still has a 2-seat T-Bird he bought as a used car. A few years after he bought it, he discovered it was worth more than when he bought it. This made him realize that if he bought special models, in really nice condition for low used car prices he could probably make money. After that he read the "Cars For Sale" ads in local newspapers carefully. When he found the "right" car he bought it and resold it a few weeks later. he says he usually made money and he also built a nice collection of cars without spending money on restorations. He even bought one car through an OLD CARS WEEKLY ad and doubled his money on it. Have you checked the classifieds lately? There are a lot of good buys on cars these days.
