Classic Mechanical, LLC is moving to a larger new home in Neenah, Wis., after nine years of operating in the Zero to 60 Garage in Sherwood. Owner Jim Wagner said that the new facility encompasses 12,000 sq. ft. compared to the 2,300 it had in Sherwood.

“Thanks to our customers, we have outgrown the space we had,” Wagner explained. “This means there will be no more waiting and we will be able to keep more cars inside.” Wagner said that Classic Mechanical LLC would also be hiring additional technicians to meet the needs of a growing business.

In addition to a large, well-lit shop the new facility has a separate machine shop, a separate room for building engines and office space. Wagner said the Classic Mechanical made the move because it needed more space, as did a separate body shop operation that he formerly shared space with in Sherwood.

Classic Mechanical LLC is the first tenant in the brand new building, which held a large array of cars from a 1934 Packard coupe to a 1970 Mercury Cyclone with a 429 Cobra-Jet engine. Other cars in the shop included a mid-century Nash, a Shelby Cobra, a Dodge Charger and a pair of Jaguar XKE roadster, one of which was a very early version.

The new location is at 1005 W. American Dr. in Neenah.

“The cars of summer will be back soon,” Wagner noted. “We will be there to support enthusiasts with restoration and repair service of their dream cars.”

Jim Wagner has moved his business to a four-to-five times larger facility.
