Old Cars Weekly voters asked for the 1957 Dual-Ghia in scale form, and Automodello delivered.
The newly released 1:43 resin-cast model is the direct result of a Facebook vote among Old Cars Weekly’s followers, and Automodello’s outcome of the winner does not disappoint.

The model is built with the same accuracies of all Automodello models down to the tiny photoetched silver trim on the beautifully and accurately struck body. The wheel covers are masterpieces in and of themselves. However, the detail doesn’t end on the outside. Inside, the interior accurately replicates the pleated seat upholstery pattern and there’s even a tiny horn ring in the center of the steering wheel.
The sharp four-seater comes with a removable convertible roof and a top boot to allow owners the option of “top up” or “top down,” as well as in a variety of colors at various prices. The red and dark-blue versions are priced at $119.95 each; a Calypso Coral Tribute Edition is available at $157, while the black Homage Edition is available for $235. Order one for yourself and one for a loved one through www.diecasm.com or call 877-DIECASM (343-2276).
